My writing career began when I was 9 - I won a Golden Rough chocolate for the best story about going to the moon. Since then I have written some award-winning short stories, surfing articles in Central America, sports articles in Australia, travel tips for Lonely Planet, restaurant reviews in Costa Rica, and a novel titled, Never Admit to Beige (MacMillan), which is due for release in December 2006. Unfortunately, I have not received any more chocolate.
